Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb Review…

So for Christmas I was gifted a box of Lush’s Intergalactic bath bombs and I finally got around to trying them all out recently. I do love a good bath but I don’t always make time for them or a shower is more convenient, so I have actually really enjoyed getting back into baths again. I am also going to include videos of each bomb going in the bath because if you are like me you will constantly watch bath bomb videos on Instagram and they are addictive!!

Up first was the Intergalactic Bath bomb, and no lie I FELT LIKE A MERMAID!! The water turned blue and sparkly it was so so pretty. Lush describe this product as ‘Ever wondered what bathing in deep space would be like? Invite the cosmos into your bathroom with this sexy, interstellar bomb and become the guardian of your own galaxy. An awesome mix of refreshing peppermint and neon colour sends your mood rocketing, while popping candy takes you on a trip around the Milky Way.’ (Lush website). Personally I think this was the most perfumed bomb of the three, and was a little overpowering but I still enjoyed this bomb experience in general.

Up next I tried the Thundersnow bomb. This bomb reminded of planet earth and when I plopped it in the bath it looked so cool! I think this was actually my favourite bomb of the three. Its smell wasn’t too overpowering and was also a very pretty blue colour. This was also the only one without glitter which was nice not to be covered for once. I couldn’t find any information on this and the next bomb online as I am not sure if they are still available in store or not anymore. But if it returns it is so worth a purchase! My brother wanted to get in on the bath bomb dropping craze so that’s who is in the next video.

Finally I tried the Shoot For The Stars bomb. I did avoid this one because from the outside it looked really really glittery! I was right about the glitter theory though as when I got out of the bath and got dry I was really sparkly!! Not saying that’s an issue with the product because as a child I would cover everything in glitter. I just found it really funny though as the next day at work I could just see my sparkly twilight vampire arms all day. Again the colour was so so pretty, and I really liked the way the stars were the last thing to melt away into the bath.

Overall I really loved using these bath bombs and would defiantly repurchase them in the future. Lush products are also all animal friendly which is nice to know that nobody was harmed just so I could have glittery mermaid baths! Also sorry Mum for turning your bath blue on three separate occasions, I really did try to wash the bath out after!

Thanks for reading.

  1. Intergalactic was such an amazing bath bomb! It really does have the most incredible colours. Haha, the glitter theory. It is a bit of a downfall from the glittery bath bombs, but they come off you after a shower haha!

    1. It does! Haha I know it’s not the worst thing in the world just a bit of an inconvenience when your mum likes a very clean bathroom 😂😂 I saw a video the other day of someone’s cat rolling in the tub after they used a bath bomb and he was really glittery 😂😂
