Out Of My Safe Space…

At the start of this week I left my comfort zone my safe space my normal bubble! And for me it was a huge deal! But I actually feel better for doing so, even though for a lot of people it wouldn’t be a big deal! Plus my comfort zone isn’t ever really tested as at the moment I pretty much do the same things all the time!

On Monday I went back to London! See I warned you! To most is seems stupid but I found it to be a massive deal! For me going back to London by myself is huge. London is the place where I had my downfall and I kind of blamed and connected London with feeling like that! I kind of see it like London had a big black cloud above it and home was all sunny and bright (If any of the made sense?). But I did it! I travelled around on busy tubes and buses and was surrounded by so many people. Yes Im not going to lie I did have a freak out, I panicked and didn’t know what to do with myself but I managed to calm down and carry on. Even though it was difficult at the time to remember I had actually achieved something good.

The basic thing I’m getting at is that I and others should probably push ourselves out of our comfort zones a bit more, yes it was difficult and tough but I did it!! And that sense of achievement is good.

Thanks for reading this mini post! Sorry I haven’t been that active recently I’ve been a little busy!

  1. You should be very proud!! Getting out of comfort zones is hard to do, and even if you don’t feel like you manage it all that well, the main thing is to try, to not give up, and to take something from the experience. You rock! 🙂

  2. I’m so glad you did it!
And yes, I agree that we should try different things even if they seems scary. I red onece: “A comfort zone is a beautiful place but nothing ever grows there.”- and I think that’s so true. It’s nice to be around things you know but you’ll never know better if you don’t try something new and if nothing else, you can always learn from new experiences.
