Favorite Quotes…

So I thought as a nice easy read Thursday post I will share with you four of my favorite quotes…

  • ‘Though she be but little, she is fierce!- William Shakespeare, from A Midsummer’s Night Dream. I’ve always loved this quote since studying a bit of Midsummer’s at High School. During school I was tiny as I didn’t grow when everyone else did, so I felt it really applied to me. But I think this quote can also apply to women in general. We are still seen as the weaker sex even now in 2018, but we are fierce. I mean we can make babies and that’s cool!
  • I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.’ – Albert Einstein. Could a quote apply more to modern day than this one?? I think not! I used this quote for my 1st year choreography at University. When I moved to London I was amazed at the volume of people who were connected to their phones 24/7 so loved this quote when I found it.
  • ‘What is your aspiration in life? Oh, well my aspiration in life would be… to be happy’- Beyonce. This one is a lyric from Beyonce’s ‘Pretty Hurts’ song, but ever since hearing it it has always stuck with me. I think everyone’s aspiration in life should be that.
  • ‘Everything you can imagine is real.’- Pablo Picasso. I really love this quote because I feel I have always had a really good imagination but as adults we don’t use our imagination enough or if at all. Just because we have jobs and things we have to do that doesn’t mean we still can’t dream and think crazy things.

So there you go I hope they give you a little food for thought on a Thursday. A few but not all of my favorites.

Thanks for taking a look!
