Spring Is That You?

Spring in February? This weekend in England it has been usually sunny for a February. The mornings were foggy but once burnt off it has left us with two beautiful sunny days. This also happened to be my weekend off due to half term, so I had to get out and take some pictures. So yesterday for the first time in a long time I was able to get out with my camera due to life just happening. I miss carrying it with me everywhere as I used to but full-time work doesn’t really call for a camera to be in your backpack 24/7. I think i’m good at taking photos so want to share them here.

If you’ve followed me in the past you will know I love taking photos of flowers. I think they are all so cool about them all their tiny little details and they make a really good photo. My favourite types of flowers are normally wild flowers. I think snowdrops are up there in my top 3. But as well as snowdrops the daffodils and crocus are starting to show which is a big shout that spring is on its way. Luckily, I had lots of patches to photograph this weekend.

Jack also brought some more ewes with lambs this week to add to his flock. It’s nice to see some lambs running around the field again. His main Ewes will start lambing in a few weeks which I’m sure I will update you on! I think the Tup wasn’t too happy about me being in his field or taking his photo.

He looks so mad right?! Not happy to be snapped.

So, there you go a little snapshot of my sunny Sunday! It’s so nice to get some vitamin D and feel the sun on my face again. It is still very early for spring and I am convinced there is still a lot of bad weather and rain heading our way before spring can really begin. But it is nice to see the first signs of it.

  1. Spring may finally be here! This time last year it was snowing so much and I was moving house in the snow! I am moving again next weekend so I hope it continues being sunny. I love your pictures here – daffodils look so happy…the sheep, not so much! x
