If we were having coffee…

I have seen Chloe Burford and a few others (that I currently can’t think of) do these types of posts and I thought I would attempt one. I am really busy at the moment and am bursting with info. But I never get chance to tell people any of it because I don’t see anyone. So here goes…

If we were having coffee… I would tell you about how my massage course is going. Maybe with a bit too much enthusiasm. And I would probably talk about it a bit too much. I would tell you that I am really proud of myself, if we were having coffee you would probably know I don’t hold much confidence in myself at times. I am the first one to put myself down and be negative about myself. But I would tell you that so far, I have received really lovely positive feedback from my clients and case studies which is awesome and shows I should have more confidence in myself and my work.

If we were having coffee… I would tell you that even though my schedule is busier than ever I am really working on taking a break and taking a moment to myself. I am really trying to leave Sunday as my rest day where I do only the bare minimum. I have also been taking lots of baths and doing mini yoga sessions before bed to take a moment and a chill out.

If we were having coffee… I would tell you how I have kind of hit a brick wall with blogging at the moment. I really miss being so involved and posting all of the time but life won’t let me at the moment. I want to produce good quality posts instead of churning out rubbish, but it is really tricky to balance with life. My views have gone down because of my sporadic postings which of course is a bit sad to see but of course it is expected. Once I hit the New Year, I am hoping it will take off again.

If we were having coffee... I would tell you that I am back at Dance. I have a lot more classes this year, but I am loving them so far. I am also teaching myself to tap dance, which is a lot, lot trickier than I thought it would be. It is super technical and moving your feet in an exact way is super tricky. I have started teaching a few of the younger tap classes as well which so far are going ok.

If we were having coffee... I would ask how you are, because I don’t see many people at the moment and I’m sure your life is much more interesting than mine…

Make sure you take a look at Chloe & Sophie’s posts that inspired this one below.

  1. You should have more confidence, you are such a positive influence on so many. You are a fabulous teacher, choreographer and a lovely person to boot! Having confidence is hard especially when you are conscientious. I value you greatly for all of the above and more. Keep being you! 😘

  4. Oh I loved this post – what a great idea! So many points I can relate to. I’m not great with confidence either, I’m always the first to put myself down. Definitely something I need to work on. Don’t even get me started with blogging! I’m forever hitting a wall and then as I say, I put myself down and worry about it. This coffee idea is a good post idea that I may well steal haha xxx

  13. I love this! I very rarely go on coffee dates with friends anymore, and this makes me want to! I feel like I’m missing that physical connection, so it’s nice to still have that, somewhat, via a blog! Keep on keeping on, and you’ll get where you need to go!
